Born in Muri (AG), grew up in Villmergen, attended school and had lessons in piano and organ there and in Wohlen (AG); later studied musicology, computer science, and physical geography at the University of Basel (licentiate 2011), in parallel also composition at the Musikhochschule Basel with Balz Trümpy and Georg Friedrich Haas (diploma 2010). Working in IT since 2011, currently as a DevOps Engineer. Musical activities (composition, organ playing) in the evening and on weekends.
